The brief
Bird Milk is a Cairo creative agency. The engagement never happened first. The entire system was built unsolicited: identity, surface, everything, from scratch, before a single conversation. The method was the point. Build the full thing. Price it seriously. Let the work do the asking.
The idea
An agency that makes other people look good deserves a surface that keeps its own voice. The identity runs on a newsprint grammar: paper fields, ink structure, one stamp red, one mascot yellow. The agency's existing visual assets were not discarded, and not imported raw. They were carried into a system, so the familiar agency lives inside a coherent language.
The system
The sourcebook defines the rules: the palette, the logo system with mark, wordmark and mascot, the surface grammar for hero, work and logo-wall pages, and a motion policy that says what moves and what stays still. Cinematic by default, disciplined about it. A master change list ran against the original site and corrected every weakness: typography, color, copy, layout, motion, missing pages. Nothing was inherited by accident.
The surface
The rebuild covers the full footprint: work with project detail pages, services, studio, showreel, an open careers flow. Handoff-ready, the same discipline as commissioned work.
Status
Delivered as an unofficial engagement and offered on its own terms. The system stands complete. The playbook and the rebuild are the receipt.
